Call for research proposals and papers<\/strong><\/p>\nWe are cordially inviting you to submit papers to and attend the International Workshop New Challenges for Statistical Software \u2013 The Use of R in Official Statistics.<\/p>\n
The workshop will be held in Bucharest-ROMANIA, on March 27, 2014.<\/p>\n
The purpose of the workshop is to provide a public forum for researchers from academia and institutes of statistics to present, exchange ideas and discuss developments in state-of-the-art statistical software commonly used in applied economics and statistics. The most focused debates are expected to be the use of R in official Statistics.
\nAll the research proposals\/papers will be published in a special issue in the Romanian Statistical Review: http:\/\/www.revistadestatistica.ro\/en-index.html<\/p>\n
The papers presented at the workshop can be revised after the workshop and before being submitted to the Romanian Statistical Review. Publication decisions will be based on a standard peer-reviewing process.<\/p>\n
