Following the partnership agreement signed in 2011 between the Institute for Economic Forecasting, Romanian Academy and Nicolae Titulescu University of Bucharest, the co-organized international workshop New Trends in Modelling and Economic Forecast reached the second edition.

This workshop aims at presenting the latest trends in economic modeling and the latest methods used in forecasting. Among the areas covered: quantitative methods applied in the economic forecast, software algorithms for forecasting, economic modeling. Specialists from both institutions and internationally renowned guests have the opportunity to present researches in these areas.

The papers are revised by reviewers, ensuring high quality, accuracy and relevance. A selection of these works is published in the volume for the conference. For high visibility, the conference proceedings are published in a journal indexed in international databases (RePEc , DOAJ , Index Copernicus , etc.).
